“The way that schools communicate has completely changed,” says Barrye Dickinson, Director of Marketing at The Knox School in Victoria,
“We experiment all the time with new ideas to deliver our message.”
At the moment Barrye is building an iPhone specific website so parents who are out’n’about can access the school at any time, know what’s happening and can call with ease on their smart phone.
I’m delighted that The Knox School is a host school for this year’s school marketing conference* and that Barrye will be giving a talk (and demonstration) on communication in the digital era - what works for a school and what doesn’t, and how schools can apply communication technology in an increasingly busy, electronic society. He will be talking on Thursday 12 August.
